Chesterfield National Spiritualists' Centre

Chesterfield National Spiritualists' Centre is a spiritualist centre in Chesterfield that also offers its premises for selected personal ceremonies. Couples and families can enquire about holding a wedding or blessing, a naming ceremony, or a funeral service at the centre. The venue hire is arranged around the ceremony, and the centre invites organisers to contact its team to discuss the requirements.

For weddings, a registrar is needed where the ceremony is to be legally registered. Blessings, including renewals of vows, can also be conducted by the centre's president or an officiant or minister from the Spiritualists' National Union. Naming ceremonies can be arranged for infants or adults. Families arranging a funeral may choose their own service leader, or ask about the availability of a centre representative or SNU officiant. The centre's published hire information covers use of the premises, while fees for the person leading a service and any registrar are separate.

The centre's wider programme is based on Spiritualism. Its regular activities include Saturday services combining spiritualist philosophy and mediumship, special mediumship evenings, spiritual healing and term-time education classes. These ongoing services and classes make the centre a community-focused place as well as a location for ceremonies. Event planners and families considering a booking can contact the centre to discuss the service, practical arrangements and availability. The website does not specify room capacities or a broader range of facilities, so organisers should confirm any particular requirements directly before making plans.
