The Room of Enchantment

The Room of Enchantment is an intimate event space in the heart of Matlock, available to hire for suitable gatherings, workshops and therapeutic services. Tucked into a courtyard setting, it offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional meeting room for organisers looking for somewhere personal, imaginative and welcoming.

The room is suited to small groups, with a maximum of 12 people for the bespoke celebrations facilitated by its hosts, Angela and Katie. It can be considered for birthdays, baby showers, pre-wedding gatherings and other meaningful occasions, as well as creative or wellbeing-focused workshops. Hirers can request an information pack to learn more about packages and accessibility before planning their booking.

For organisers who would like more than a room, Happiness Enchanters can also create a tailored event at the venue. Depending on the occasion, activities may include arts and crafts, creative therapy, meditation, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, tarot and oracle card readings, crystal learning, affirmations and confidence-building. These options make the space a potential choice for a small celebration with a participatory programme, or for a relaxed group session centred on creativity and wellbeing.

The venue is in The Courtyard, just off Matlock's high street. Access details are available from the hosts, including information about a ramp and the building's steps. Organisers can contact the team to discuss the type of gathering they have in mind, ask about the room's suitability and request a tailored quote or hire information.
