The Ramsey

The Ramsey is an event venue in downtown Joplin, Missouri, offering a 4,000-square-foot space in a historic building dating from 1901. Organisers can hire the room for weddings and receptions, business meetings, company and holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries and other private or corporate gatherings.

The open layout can be arranged to suit different occasions. For a wedding, couples can hold the ceremony and reception in the same room, with separate areas for each or a layout where guests remain seated at tables for both parts of the celebration. The venue lists seating for up to 240 guests, with tables and white padded chairs available. A stage, sound system, projector, portable screens, tablecloths and coloured uplighting can also be arranged for an additional charge.

Rental options include weekday, evening and weekend bookings, with a combined Friday and Saturday package also available. An all-inclusive package covers a Friday and Saturday hire, projector, set-up and tear-down. Organisers may make arrangements for their own food, subject to the venue's stated deposit and catering conditions. Optional table and chair set-up is available for a fee.

Located at East 6th Street and Main in downtown Joplin, The Ramsey provides a flexible indoor setting for planners seeking a characterful space for a celebration, reception or business gathering. Event organisers can contact the venue to discuss availability, pricing and a tour of the room.
