Davis-Shai House

Davis-Shai House is a historic event venue in Heath, Ohio, welcoming organisers from Heath, Newark, Granville and the wider Columbus area. Set in an 1861 home, the property combines period character with practical facilities for weddings, receptions, business functions and private celebrations.

The venue offers a choice of indoor rooms and outdoor settings. The Camelot Room provides an elegant banquet space, while the Fairview Room suits meetings, showers, luncheons and smaller gatherings. The rooms can be opened up to create a larger layout. For more intimate occasions, Mame's Parlor has the atmosphere of a historic house, and the Veranda looks out over the gardens. The landscaped lawn can host outdoor ceremonies, receptions and larger gatherings, with tenting and seating arrangements available to organise.

Weddings are a particular focus, with spaces for ceremonies and receptions as well as suites where the bridal party can get ready. The venue also hosts birthday parties, baby showers, anniversaries, memorial gatherings, reunions, fundraisers and community celebrations. For corporate organisers, facilities include a dedicated conference room with internet access, an integrated sound system and video-conferencing capability. Larger rooms can be arranged for presentations and group events.

Catering is available for events, with menus covering appetisers, meals, desserts and afternoon tea. Organisers can discuss menu customisation and dietary needs in advance. Venue rentals include event furnishings and table settings, with set-up and clear-up support. On-site parking, Wi-Fi, an accessible entrance and elevator service add practical convenience. Tours and consultations are arranged by appointment, giving planners an opportunity to review the spaces and discuss the requirements for their event.
