The Lowlands

The Lowlands is an event venue in Saint Paul, Minnesota, offering a flexible setting for weddings, corporate events and personal celebrations. Set in a repurposed industrial building, the venue combines historic character with bright interiors, considered design and spaces that can be arranged to suit different occasions.

The building has two levels with distinct atmospheres. The upper level is open and filled with natural light, making it suitable for meetings, presentations, ceremonies, seated meals and receptions. Downstairs, the Ladyslipper Lounge offers a more intimate setting with lounge seating and a living terrarium. Each floor has its own built-in bar, and the venue also provides outdoor areas: an upper terrace and a sunken patio for guests to gather between indoor activities.

The Lowlands welcomes corporate meetings, off-site gatherings, holiday parties, fundraisers, client events and social occasions such as birthdays, retirements and graduations. Weddings are also a central part of its offering. Depending on the layout, the venue can accommodate up to 250 guests for seated events or 400 for cocktail-style gatherings. Two furnished green rooms offer private preparation space for wedding parties, speakers or other guests.

Venue hire includes support from a dedicated venue manager, tables and chairs, bar staffing and glassware, and on-site parking. In-house audiovisual packages are available for meetings and presentations. The venue operates its own bar programme and works with approved catering partners, with licensed outside caterers considered by arrangement. Organisers can also request additional planning support and recommendations for event professionals.
