Barbara-Künkelin-Halle

Künkelinstraße 33, 73614 Schorndorf, Germany

Barbara-Künkelin-Halle in Schorndorf is a versatile event venue for organisers from the worlds of culture, business, politics and society. Three halls of different sizes and several foyer areas can be used for meetings, conferences, talks, concerts, corporate events and private celebrations. Weddings and banquets are also offered.

The largest room, the Gottlieb-Daimler-Saal, can accommodate up to 600 people in a theatre-style layout. It has a large stage, lighting and sound equipment, projection facilities and other technical equipment. Together with the Reinhold-Maier-Saal, it can provide additional space. The Reinhold-Maier-Saal is suitable for banquets, weddings and family celebrations, among other events, while the divisible Fritz-Abele-Saal is the right size for smaller celebrations, meetings, talks and working groups. Seating and room layouts can be adapted to suit each event format.

The hall team supports event planners with preparation and delivery, and provides assistance from experienced technical and event operations professionals. Support can also include the programme, equipment, catering and staff, if required. There is a restaurant on site. The central location offers easy access to Schorndorf's historic town centre and railway station, and there is also an adjacent multi-storey car park with direct access. The hall is therefore suitable for both local occasions and events attended by guests from the surrounding area.
