Wasco School Events Center

Wasco School Events Center offers event and meeting spaces in a historic former school building in Wasco, Oregon. Its main space is an auditorium suited to private parties, receptions, reunions, memorial services, performances, conferences and other gatherings. The room has a small stage, hardwood floors, acoustic sound panels and an adjoining kitchen. Tables and chairs are included when needed, and organisers can ask about lighting and audio equipment.

The auditorium can seat up to 90 people at dining tables or in theatre-style rows, with standing capacity for up to 225. A separate meeting room provides a more intimate setting for small groups, with seating for around 12 at a conference table. The centre also makes its gymnasium available for rental, offering another option for activities and gatherings.

Organisers can rent the licensed kitchen to prepare food for their own event or for an event elsewhere. Facility-use applications, rates and rules are provided by the centre, and reservations need to be approved in advance. The building can also be booked outside its regular weekday opening hours for events.

Set in a former school dating from 1916, the venue combines flexible gathering spaces with a distinctive historic setting. It welcomes bookings for a range of private and community occasions, and invites prospective organisers to get in touch to discuss availability or arrange a visit.
