Thoresby Park

Thoresby Park offers event organisers a choice of settings within a historic Nottinghamshire estate. Couples can enquire about weddings in the Victorian Riding Hall, a large characterful space with exposed brickwork and a high arched ceiling. Wedding arrangements can include exclusive use of the hall and Secret Garden, with ceremony, dining and reception options. The venue team offers wedding packages as well as scope to discuss individual requirements.

For outdoor events, the estate has more than 75 acres of available event space, including lawns and event fields. These open-air areas can suit a range of gatherings, from larger public occasions to smaller club events. The estate also welcomes caravan and camping rallies, with space for groups to gather and facilities nearby.

The wider setting gives organisers room to shape an event around the landscape, while private estate roads help with vehicle access. Thoresby Courtyard is a short walk away and adds useful visitor facilities, including shops, a café and a military museum. Accommodation is also available on the estate, which may be helpful for wedding parties and event guests wishing to stay nearby.

Organisers can contact the Thoresby events team to discuss the right space, availability and arrangements for their event. The grounds, heritage architecture and nearby amenities make Thoresby Park a flexible choice for wedding celebrations and outdoor occasions in the Newark area.
