Interwoven

Interwoven is an independent creative space in downtown New Bedford, available to organisers looking for a distinctive setting for smaller events. Created by artist Rhonda M. Fazio, it brings together a gallery, makerspace and venue, with a focus on local art, food, fabric and community activity.

The space can be considered for private gatherings, workshops, classes, pop-up events and gallery exhibitions. It also hosts music and performance events, and welcomes proposals from artists, makers and teachers who want to present work or lead an activity. Its creative character makes it suited to informal occasions where guests can meet, learn or take part, rather than to large-scale conferences or banquets.

Food and making are part of the venue's identity. Organisers can enquire about food-themed events and cooking activities, while La Rhonda's catering is available by arrangement. Workshops may explore subjects such as food preparation, preservation, weaving and natural dyes. The offering can therefore work for community gatherings, creative sessions and small celebrations that benefit from an intimate, hands-on atmosphere.

Located near New Bedford City Hall in the Seaport District, Interwoven offers event organisers a local space with a strong connection to the area's artists and makers. Dates, proposals and event details can be discussed directly with the venue, allowing organisers to explore what will suit their group and programme.
