The Long Room, Logie Steading

The Long Room at Logie Steading is a flexible space for organisers planning meetings, courses, exhibitions, talks, pop-up shops, small markets and private events. Available for daytime and evening hire, it can also be booked for longer projects, making it suitable for activities that need a base over several days or weeks.

The room measures 11 by 4 metres, with an additional kitchenette and WC. Tables and chairs can be arranged to suit different layouts. The venue suggests capacity for around 40 people seated in rows for a talk, or approximately 15 around a table arrangement. For hands-on sessions, the room can also accommodate smaller groups working around tables.

Facilities include eight trestle tables, a projector for presentations, Wi-Fi, good natural and artificial lighting, central heating and electricity. A picture rail and generous wall space make the room practical for displaying artwork or exhibition material. The kitchenette is equipped with a kettle, crockery and a fridge, and the on-site café offers another option for refreshments. Wheelchair access is available.

Set within Logie Steading in the Findhorn Valley, the room gives event planners a convenient indoor base within a wider visitor destination. The Long Room can also serve as a meeting point for activities taking place on the estate, such as outdoor courses and walks.
