The Tomahawk Throwing Range & Blade Shop, LLC

The Tomahawk Throwing Range & Blade Shop is an axe and knife throwing venue in downtown Albemarle, North Carolina. It offers timed throwing sessions for individuals and groups, with instruction and coaching available, so first-time throwers can learn the basics before taking aim. Participants can throw axes, knives, tomahawks and throwing stars, with the venue presenting the activity as a social outing for friends, families and other groups.

Sessions are listed as one hour, with pricing charged per person. The range welcomes throwers aged 12 and over, while younger children may watch with adult supervision. This makes it an option for organisers seeking an active, hands-on experience for a suitable group, rather than a conventional function room or general-purpose event venue. Organisers should contact the business directly to check availability and arrangements for their group.

The venue also has pool tables and serves beer, giving guests another way to relax between throws. Coaching is available to help visitors handle the equipment and practise safely. The business runs a tomahawk throwing league for people interested in returning regularly, and its blade shop sells throwing equipment for those who want to continue the hobby at home.

Regular opening hours are listed for Thursday to Saturday, while Sunday to Wednesday visits are by reservation. Hours may vary on major holidays, so organisers should call ahead to confirm the schedule and book their session. The range is located on South Second Street in Albemarle and provides a distinctive activity for group outings and informal celebrations.
