Dr Peter Centre

The Dr Peter Centre offers flexible, bookable space for meetings, conferences and other events in Romsey. It is primarily the home of Romsey District Scouts, with its rooms available to outside organisers when they are not in use by Scout groups. One-off bookings and regular hires are welcome, making the centre an option for local organisations, businesses and community groups looking for practical indoor space.

The main hall can accommodate up to 120 people in a conference layout. Its clear floor area measures 13 by 10 metres, giving organisers room to arrange activities, exhibitions or other gatherings. For smaller sessions, Jenny's Room can be set up for up to 14 people around a boardroom table or 36 in a conference arrangement. The Group Room, beside the main hall, seats up to 10 boardroom-style and can also serve as a breakout room.

Rooms can be hired individually or combined, so planners can choose a layout suited to their group and programme. Each space has kitchen or kitchenette facilities, a projector screen and Wi-Fi access. Tables and chairs in Jenny's Room can be rearranged or put away, helping the room adapt to different meeting formats. Hire is available for a minimum of two hours, with charges starting at £30. Organisers can use the online booking system to check room availability and submit a request. The centre's location on Baden Powell Way provides a practical Romsey base for meetings, workshops, presentations and community events.
