Venue 1

Venue 1 is a converted chapel in Tredegar, South Wales, offering two separate spaces for private celebrations and organised events. The venue is operated by Kidz R Us, a local performing arts and youth organisation, and income from bookings helps support its community activities.

The rooms are presented as a flexible choice for couples, families, community groups and business organisers. Weddings are a key part of the offer, alongside engagement celebrations, birthdays, children’s parties, adult parties, hen and stag gatherings, anniversaries and other social occasions. Organisers can also enquire about using the venue for meetings, training sessions and conferences. Other listed uses include awards ceremonies, charity events and funeral gatherings, making the space suitable for both celebratory and more reflective occasions.

Its traditional chapel setting gives the venue a distinctive character for receptions and functions, while the two spaces provide options for different event needs. The business describes its conference facilities as modern and says they can accommodate conferences of different sizes. Whether planning a family celebration, a wedding reception or a business gathering, organisers can contact the team to discuss room hire and their requirements.
