McCormick Hall & Event Center

McCormick Hall & Event Center is a flexible, 8,000-square-foot venue in Port Barre, Louisiana, available for private celebrations and other gatherings. Its open floor plan can be arranged for events of different sizes, with capacity for up to 300 guests. The hall is suited to weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, proms, showers, birthdays, anniversaries and family reunions.

Organisers can bring in their own caterer, decorations, photographer and entertainment, giving them the freedom to shape the event around their plans. Rental includes a selection of rectangular and round tables, white folding chairs, a stage or bandstand and a bar. The venue also has separate men's and women's toilets, a five-burner cooker with oven, and a double refrigerator, offering useful facilities for event preparation and service.

The hall is particularly suitable for organisers looking for a straightforward space they can personalise, rather than a venue that requires them to use a fixed package of suppliers. Published rental options cover weddings and receptions, rehearsal events, graduation parties and other celebrations. Prospective clients can arrange a showing during the venue's weekday business hours to view the space and discuss availability and requirements. Whether planning a family milestone or a larger celebration, organisers can use the open layout and included furnishings as a practical starting point for their event.
