Hackney Showroom

Hackney Showroom is an arts and community venue in north-east London, with flexible spaces available to hire for a range of events. Organisers can choose the larger Big Space or a smaller Studio, booking either room separately or enquiring about options for their event.

The Big Space can accommodate up to 60 people seated or standing for parties, and up to 80 for ticketed events. It has lighting, sound and projection equipment, making it suitable for performances, talks, presentations, conferences, workshops and private celebrations. The Studio provides a more intimate setting, with space for up to 20 seated or 25 standing. It is equipped with a portable PA and projector, and can suit smaller meetings, training sessions, classes and workshops.

The venue also welcomes bookings for children’s parties, away days, book launches, filming and rehearsals. For private events at weekends, four-hour slots can be booked in the Big Space or Studio. These include a duty manager, tables and chairs, and use of the venue’s sound and lighting equipment. Set-up and pack-down time is included in the booking period. Organisers planning other types of hire can enquire about availability and pricing.

Hackney Showroom is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout. Its facilities include gender-neutral toilets, one of which is wheelchair accessible and has baby-changing facilities. Located on Kings Crescent Estate, the venue is close to bus routes and within walking distance of Manor House and Finsbury Park stations. Hiring the space also supports the organisation’s work with artists and the local community.
