Shoreditch Electric

Shoreditch Electric is a dry-hire event venue in East London, set within a former power station whose industrial character gives its spaces a distinctive backdrop. Organisers can hire a single room, selected spaces or the whole venue, then shape the layout and styling around their event. The venue works with approved suppliers, and an event or production company must be involved in running a hire.

The venue includes several spaces for different event needs. The 425-square-metre Combustion Chamber offers a large, column-free floor, while the 280-square-metre Generating Chamber retains features of the building's industrial past. A 540-square-metre courtyard provides an outdoor option, and the smaller studios can support receptions, meetings, hospitality, press activity or breakout sessions. The Creation Studio is also available for individual hire.

This flexible setting can suit corporate gatherings, launches, receptions, creative productions and other functions. Part-venue and full-venue hire packages allow organisers to choose the scale that fits their plans. The site has step-free access to rooms, lifts and accessible toilet facilities. Its location is close to Old Street Underground station, with Shoreditch High Street and local bus routes also serving the area.

The venue is home to the National Centre for Circus Arts, and revenue from commercial hires supports the centre. Organisers considering the space can contact the hires team to discuss the rooms, availability and practical arrangements for their event.
