Chateau on the Ocean

Chateau on the Ocean is a private oceanfront estate in Islamorada, Florida, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings and other private events. Its indoor and outdoor spaces give organisers several backdrops to choose from, whether they are planning a formal celebration, a drinks reception or a more relaxed gathering beside the water.

The Baccarat Ballroom provides an indoor option with a built-in bar and large windows facing the ocean. Outdoors, guests can gather on the beach, beside the mosaic pool, in the landscaped Royal Palm Courtyard or on the Skyline Rooftop Terrace, where views stretch across the surrounding waters. Couples can also enquire about a floating ceremony platform over the ocean. The range of spaces makes it possible to create different moments across a single event, from a ceremony or welcome reception through to dinner and an evening celebration.

The estate combines French chateau-inspired interiors and decorative details with a coastal setting, including fountains, balconies, terraces and a private dock. Accommodation is available for up to 14 people, which can suit wedding parties, executive retreats or groups seeking an event with an overnight stay. The property also promotes concierge support and amenities for guests, so organisers can consider both the occasion and the wider stay in one location.

Based in the Florida Keys, the venue is around a 90-minute drive from Miami International Airport. Organisers can contact the team to discuss dates, event requirements and which spaces may best suit their plans.
