Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center

Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center is a multi-purpose venue in downtown Oneonta, New York, offering event organisers a choice of indoor spaces for gatherings of different sizes and styles. Its facilities include theatre spaces, an atrium and rooms suited to meetings and other functions, giving planners options for both audience-based programmes and more informal events.

The venue can be considered for weddings, private parties, corporate functions, conferences, community gatherings and performances. A larger theatre provides a setting for concerts, talks, presentations and shows, while the smaller spaces can suit meetings, receptions and celebrations. The range of rooms allows organisers to match the setting to the occasion, whether they are planning a focused meeting or welcoming a larger audience. The centre also hosts its own public programme of live music, theatre and other performances, reflecting its role as a working arts venue as well as a place available for hire.

For event planners, Foothills offers a single location with several distinct room types to consider when shaping a programme. The venue's Black Hole Studios also provides audio recording, mixing and mastering, along with live audio and video recording services. Organisers can contact the centre to discuss room availability and rental arrangements. With its combination of performance facilities and flexible event spaces, Foothills is a useful option for planners seeking an indoor venue in the Oneonta area for a private, business or community event.
