Avalon Theatre

Avalon Theatre is a historic performing arts venue in downtown Easton, Maryland, available to hire for selected private and corporate events. The main auditorium accommodates up to 400 guests, and its movable orchestra-level seating can be arranged in cabaret or dance-floor formats for an additional fee. The venue is suited to corporate gatherings, staff parties, private film screenings and speaker events.

Organisers can ask the theatre to manage ticket sales for a hired event, and concessions are available. Hire is subject to the theatre's performance programme and scheduling requirements, so dates are considered according to availability. The rental team reviews enquiries and works with organisers on the booking process.

The building also hosts a regular programme of live music and performing arts. Its main auditorium is known for its historic character and restored Art Deco interior, while the upstairs Stoltz Listening Room provides a more intimate setting for performances. These spaces give the venue a strong connection to Easton's cultural life, as well as a distinctive backdrop for events that suit a theatre setting.

Located on East Dover Street, the theatre is within historic downtown Easton. Street parking and a car park behind the venue are available nearby. For event planners seeking a characterful auditorium for a company function, private screening or presentation, Avalon Theatre offers a central location, substantial audience capacity and flexible seating options. Because the venue's own programme takes priority, organisers should enquire early and confirm whether their preferred date and event format can be accommodated.
