Asheville Masonic Temple

Asheville Masonic Temple is a historic event venue in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, available to organisers planning weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings and performances. Designed by architect Richard Sharp Smith and completed in 1915, the building offers distinctive period character alongside several spaces suited to different event formats.

The Historic Theatre provides a setting for wedding ceremonies, presentations and performances. For larger gatherings, the Grand Hall can host corporate events, wedding dinners and other group occasions. The Noble Room, with its balcony, offers a more intimate option for receptions, parties and smaller gatherings. Organisers can choose a space according to the scale and style of their event, from a formal ceremony to a business function or private celebration.

The venue has a dedicated wedding offering, with an enquiry route for couples and information about event options available through its brochure. General event enquiries can also be made directly to the management team to discuss availability and arrangements. The Temple’s stated mission combines its ongoing Masonic use with making the historic building available to the public as an event location.

Situated at 80 Broadway Street, the venue is centrally located in Asheville and offers event planners a characterful alternative to a conventional function space. Its range of rooms supports ceremonies, dinners, presentations, performances and social events, while the building’s architectural heritage gives gatherings a strong sense of place. Contact the venue to arrange a visit and discuss which space best suits your plans.
