El Dorado Post 119

El Dorado Post 119 offers its hall in Placerville, California, for organisers looking for a practical setting for private and community gatherings. The venue is available for family celebrations, retirement parties, memorials and club meetings, with the post inviting organisers to enquire about dates and hire rates.

The hall provides an open area that can be arranged for different occasions. Tables and chairs are available, and partition dividers can help adapt the layout to suit the event. Organisers can also request event setup, making the space useful for gatherings that need a prepared room rather than an empty hall. A kitchen is on site, along with a staffed bar, which can support the flow of a reception or social occasion. The local business directory describes the building as seating up to 300 people and notes Wi-Fi for training sessions.

Located on Greenstone Road, the post is west of Placerville and east of Shingle Springs, offering a convenient meeting point in the Sierra foothills. Venue hire is subject to date availability, and the post asks event organisers to arrange liability insurance for their booking. Friday evenings may be less available because the Legion holds its regular veterans' social hour then.

As well as serving its veteran community, El Dorado Post 119 makes its facilities available to external groups and organisers. Contact the post to discuss the occasion, preferred date, room arrangement and any practical requirements before planning the event.
