The Lake House

The Lake House is a lakeside venue in Reston, Virginia, available to hire for weddings, private celebrations and business gatherings. Set beside Lake Newport, the community space offers views across the water, a deck, a gas fireplace and a bright interior with a high ceiling and skylight. Organisers can book the venue for an intimate occasion or a mid-sized event, with space for up to 150 guests.

The venue suits wedding receptions, ceremonies, engagement parties, birthdays, anniversaries, family occasions, corporate meetings and other special events. Couples can ask about a package that combines a reception at The Lake House with a ceremony at nearby Brown's Chapel. The chapel is within walking distance, and a discounted rate is available when both locations are booked together.

Tables and chairs are included with a reservation, and the venue has audio-visual equipment, televisions, speakers and a wireless microphone. Alcohol is permitted subject to the venue's requirements and any applicable licensing. Organisers should arrange their own food and beverage service and confirm any associated fees and permissions when booking.

The Lake House is available to rent throughout the year, with opening hours for reservations from morning until evening. Rates depend on the renter and the day of the week, and a refundable security deposit applies. Reston Association handles enquiries and reservations, and its booking system provides availability information and current rental details. The venue's setting, included furnishings and flexible layout make it suitable for both social occasions and smaller corporate functions.
