The Zuid-Kennemerland Library offers attractive and professional spaces in the heart of Haarlem for meetings, workshops, training courses, lectures or lunches.

The Haarlem Centrum Library, Gasthuisstraat 32, is also the ideal location for a day of brainstorming, team building or meetings in an inspiring environment. Our rooms each have a unique interior and their own atmosphere. Multimedia facilities are at your disposal. For example, the monumental Doelen building has two unique rooms that are equipped with facilities such as WiFi, beamer, microphone and sound system. The Zuid-Kennemerland Library also has Media Labs at two different locations that are ideally suited for computer training, workshops and language courses. The Medialab in the Haarlem Centrum Library is equipped with a multi-touch screen and 3D printer.

The Haarlem Centrum Library has been in possession of the silver Greenkey certificate since 2016. Greenkey is the international quality mark for sustainable companies in the recreation sector, whereby the sustainability of a company is assessed on the basis of objective standards.

This is reflected in our rooms through the use of sustainable coffee and tea. Our lunches offer sustainable fruit, sustainable milk and sustainable fruit juices as standard. If desired, it is possible to offer the entire lunch sustainably.

In addition, both the Doelenzaal and the Yellow Room are equipped with energy-saving LED lighting.
