Want to start Carnival without the hustle and bustle? The Avenue kicks things off for the real Kielegatter.

The Grote Markt is packed again, parts of the city center are closed off, and it's getting increasingly crowded. That's why De Avenue is taking a slightly different approach this year.

The countdown has begun! Just outside Breda's city center, De Avenue is the perfect spot for true Kielegatters who want to celebrate Carnival without the stress and crowds. Here, it's all about conviviality, space, and of course, the best Carnival music: from classic sing-alongs to songs everyone belts out at the top of their lungs.

Thanks to the professional lighting and sound system, the music really shines. So get your smocks ready!

On Friday, February 13, De Avenue kicks off carnival the old-fashioned way with D'n Avenue Trapt Af!

It's ideal for coming straight from work. No jostling, no stress, just a relaxed walk into a pleasant, spacious location.

Arrive before 7:30 PM? A free stamppot buffet with meatballs and gravy will be waiting for you at the entrance. So you can head straight into the festivities with a full belly!

DJ Ralph Behouden will be behind the turntables, creating a wonderful carnival atmosphere from 6 p.m. onwards. And

As you might expect: The Avenue wouldn't be The Avenue without a number of surprising acts that provide extra atmosphere and experience.

Carnaval starten zonder gedrang? De Avenue trapt af voor d’n echte Kielegatter

De Grote Markt staat weer vol, delen van de binnenstad zijn afgesloten en het wordt steeds drukker. Daarom pakt De Avenue het dit jaar nét even anders aan.

Het aftellen is begonnen! Net buiten het centrum van Breda is De Avenue dé plek voor echte Kielegatters die carnaval willen vieren zonder stress en gedrang. Hier draait het om gezelligheid, ruimte en natuurlijk de beste carnavalsmuziek: van klassieke meezingers tot nummers die iedereen uit volle borst zingt.

Dankzij de professionele licht- en geluidsinstallatie komt de muziek extra goed tot zijn recht. Dus trek je kiel maar alvast uit de kast!

Op vrijdag 13 februari trapt De Avenue carnaval ouderwets af met D’n Avenue Trapt Af!

Het is ideaal om direct vanaf het werk door te komen. Geen gedrang, geen stress, maar ontspannen binnenlopen in een fijne, ruime locatie.

Ben je vóór 19.30 uur binnen? Dan staat er bij de entree een gratis stamppotbuffet voor je klaar, met gehaktbal en jus. Zo kunde met een goed gevulde buik meteen door het feest in!

Achter de draaitafels staat DJ Ralph Behouden, die vanaf 18.00 uur zorgt voor een heerlijke carnavalsstemming. En

zoals je mag verwachten: De Avenue zou De Avenue niet zijn zonder een aantal verrassende acts die zorgen voor extra sfeer en beleving.
