Come and enjoy a stroll through the Kielegat Kapellentempel on Saturday afternoon. On Carnival Saturday, you can enjoy live band music at De Avenue. The best bands will be there between 2:11 PM and 7:11 PM. Come listen, dance, get a drink at the bar, and of course, do the polonaise!
The countdown has begun and this year you can once again celebrate Carnival at De Avenue.
On the edge of Breda's city center, De Avenue is the place for true Kielegat residents to celebrate together. Carnival is all about conviviality and, of course, carnival music. From classic carnival songs to songs everyone sings along to at the top of their lungs.
The Theaterzaal and Sociëteit together create a characteristic setting for carnival in Breda. Thanks to the professional lighting and sound systems, the music really shines. Get your smocks ready!
Carnival in Breda is a celebration the whole city looks forward to every year. Breda transforms into 't Kielegat, and you see colorful outfits and costumed revelers everywhere.

D’n Kapellentempel als vanouds!
Kom zaterdagmiddag lekker binnen wandellen tijdens het Kielegatse Kapellentempel. Op de carnavalszaterdag kan je genieten van live kapellenmuziek in De Avenue. De allerleukste kapellen zijn erbij, tussen 14:11u en 19:11u. Kom luisteren, dansen, je drankje halen bij de bar en natuurlijk de polonaise lopen!
Het aftellen is begonnen en ook dit jaar vier je carnaval bij De Avenue.
Aan de rand van het centrum in Breda is De Avenue dé plek voor de echte Kielegatters om samen het feest te vieren. Tijdens carnaval draait het om gezelligheid en natuurlijk carnavalsmuziek. Van klassieke carnavalsnummers tot liedjes die iedereen uit volle borst meezingt.
De Theaterzaal en Sociëteit vormen samen een karakteristieke setting voor carnaval in Breda. Dankzij de professionele licht- en geluidsinstallaties komt de muziek extra goed tot zijn recht. Trek je kiel maar alvast uit de kast!
Carnaval in Breda is ieder jaar een feest waar de hele stad naar uitkijkt. Breda verandert in ‘T Kielegat en overal zie je kleurrijke outfits en verklede feestvierders.
De Avenue organiseert tijdens carnaval zowel eigen feesten als evenementen samen met Stichting Kielegat. Een afwisselend programma voor jong en oud dus!
