Funeral care Bentein & Pollet is a first-generation family business that takes care of the aftercare after the death of your loved one. We were originally a group home nursing practice, but along the way, the two business managers-nurses Annick and Gregory became aware of the potential of their nursing expertise as an additional asset in caring for a deceased person and the associated administration. In our sober, but stylishly furnished funeral home, a final greeting can be given to the loved one in peace. A separate private car park provides ample opportunity to park next to the business. Our auditorium with a view over the nature reserve behind it is an ideal setting for offering farewell ceremonies in an intimate circle. The crematorium of Ostend, which is only two kilometers away, offers sufficient capacity for larger parting ceremonies with its spacious halls. Of course we also lead church services, in a church of your choice, within or outside our activity region.

We also tried to pay attention to disabled people in our project. Disabled people therefore have a reserved parking space close to the footpath. There are no thresholds anywhere in the building and separate sanitary facilities are provided for wheelchair users. All passageways in the building are also adapted to the width of the most commonly used trolleys.

For us, "ecology" is not a hollow slogan: we put it into practice every day. That is why our funeral home was designed and built according to the latest building regulations, and is almost completely energy neutral: no heating on fossil fuels, rainwater recovery in large underground wells, solar panels, ... Yet we did not have to compromise on quality for this, because we provide our funeral home many facilities, both in front and behind the scenes. The materials offered correspond to this: no plastic or silk flowers, but lifelike flowers and flower arrangements; ecological boxes; as few plastic products as possible, ... Again: with the highest quality and satisfaction of our customers as the goal we keep in mind.

Uitvaartzorg Bentein & Pollet is een familiebedrijf in de eerste generatie, dat zorg maakt van de na-zorg na overlijden van uw dierbare. Van oorsprong zijn we een groepspraktijk voor thuisverpleging, maar gaandeweg werden de twee zaakvoerders-verpleegkundigen Annick en Gregory zich bewust van het potentieel van hun verpleegkundige vakkennis als extra troef in het zorgen om een overledene en de bijhorende administratie. In ons sober, maar stijlvol ingericht funerarium kan in alle rust een laatste groet gebracht worden aan de dierbare. Een afgescheiden privéparking voorziet in voldoende mogelijkheid om naast de zaak te parkeren. Onze aula met uitzicht over het achterliggende natuurgebied is een ideaal kader om afscheidsplechtigheden in intieme kring aan te bieden. Het crematorium van Oostende, dat zich slechts een tweetal kilometer verderop bevindt, biedt met zijn ruime zalen voldoende capaciteit voor grotere afscheidsplechtigheden. Wij gaan uiteraard ook kerkdiensten voor, in een kerk naar uw keuze, binnen of buiten onze activiteitenregio.

We probeerden ook aandacht te hebben voor andersvaliden in ons project. Andersvaliden hebben dan ook een voorbehouden parkeerplaats dicht bij het voetpad. Er zijn nergens drempels in het gebouw en er is afzonderlijk sanitair voorzien voor rolwagengebruikers. Alle doorgangen in het gebouw zijn ook aangepast aan de breedte van de meest gebruikte rolwagens.

"Ecologie" is voor ons geen holle slogan: we zetten het dagelijks om in de praktijk. Daarom werd ons funerarium ontworpen en gebouwd volgens de recentste bouwvoorschriften, en is bijna volledig energieneutraal: geen verwarming op fossiele brandstoffen, regenwaterrecuperatie in grote ondergrondse putten, zonnepanelen,... Toch moesten wij hiervoor niet aan kwaliteit inboeten, want we voorzien in ons funerarium heel wat faciliteiten, zowel voor als achter de schermen. De aangeboden materialen sluiten hierop aan: geen plastic of zijden bloemen, maar levensechte bloemen en bloemstukken; ecologische kisten; zo weinig mogelijk kunststof producten,... Opnieuw: met de hoogste kwaliteit voor en tevredenheid van onze klanten als het doel dat we voor ogen houden.

En tenslotte kunnen we ook de mythe ontkrachten dat een uitvaart "stukken van mensen kost", in verhouding tot de geleverde diensten... Maar hiervoor moet u uiteraard eerst bij Uitvaartzorg Bentein & Pollet aankloppen voor hun dienstverlening.

You were a tremendous support to us; you did your utmost, sincerely and with great care. I am so grateful for what you have done for us; we were allowed to call you until late in the evening for updates on the service.
