A conference, seminar, or corporate event might last one day. The content created there can retain value for weeks or months.
Organizations are investing significantly in professional video capture today. Keynotes are recorded, panel discussions are streamed, and interviews with speakers are produced for websites and social media.
But as soon as the event is over, much of that valuable content ends up as a collection of loose video files in a folder, on YouTube, or on a page that hardly anyone looks at anymore.

From livestream to content platform
Livestreaming has meanwhile become an integral part of the event sector. In our view, the next step is not necessarily even more livestreaming, but rather a smarter approach to the content produced during an event.
A twenty-minute keynote can remain relevant even weeks after a conference. The same applies to a strong panel discussion, an interview with an expert, or a presentation in which new insights or research results are presented.
Why should we treat that content as something that only has value on the day of the event?
Based on this idea, 2 Stream developed CenterStage: an online environment where live broadcasts and on-demand video content centered around an event, organization, or content series come together.
More than a video player
A digital event platform does not have to be a collection of video windows.
Within CenterStage, an organizer can build a fully branded environment in their own corporate style, with various sessions, information and photos of speakers, chapters in longer videos, and interactive features.
During a broadcast, viewers can, for example, ask questions or participate in polls. But that interaction does not have to disappear as soon as the livestream stops.

Freedom to choose your own production partner
An important principle at CenterStage is that the platform is separate from the audiovisual production.
Therefore, an organization does not necessarily have to have video capture performed by 2 Stream to use CenterStage.
An event can be recorded by an internal audiovisual service, an event agency, another AV partner, or by 2 Stream. For the livestream, too, the organizer is not required to use one specific supplier.
That is a conscious choice.

On June 28, 2026, the US Embassy Belgium celebrated the 250th anniversary of American independence with a large-scale public event in Brussels' Jubelpark. More than 8,000 visitors attended the celebration, while millions of viewers worldwide were able to follow the event live.
For 2 Stream, this meant one of the most challenging international broadcast projects of recent years.
A major international production
The event combined diplomacy, entertainment, and international media. The program included speeches by dignitaries, military ceremonies, a fly-over, live performances by Alexis Wilkins and the Zac Brown Band, among others, followed by an impressive drone and fireworks show.
On-location video production was handled by DB Video, while 2 Stream was responsible for the full broadcast distribution, livestreaming, and international syndication. Both teams worked on behalf of DDMC Event Design for the US Embassy Belgium.
One production, dozens of destinations
Whereas a classic livestream is usually sent to a single platform, this production had to be distributed simultaneously to various types of consumers, each with their own technical and legal requirements.

That required different signal formats, separate distribution channels, and specific rights agreements for each partner.
Reliability was central
At an international diplomatic event, cancellation is not an option.
Therefore, 2 Stream built a fully redundant streaming infrastructure with:
dedicated fiber optic connections;
Starlink as an independent backup;
dual streaming controls;
primary and backup streams;
permanent monitoring of all outgoing signals.
As a result, the broadcast could be distributed worldwide without interruption.
More than livestreaming
International broadcasting is not just about image quality. Rights management also plays a crucial role.
For the live performances, different versions of the signal had to be created, including clean feeds and blackout feeds, so that each distributor received exactly the material for which they held the rights.
That combination of technical distribution, rights management, and international syndication makes this type of production fundamentally different from a classic livestream.
Teamwork as the key to success
Projects of this magnitude can only succeed thanks to close collaboration between specialized partners.

Een internationale productie van formaat
Het evenement combineerde diplomatie, entertainment en internationale media. Die combinatie van technische distributie, rechtenbeheer en internationale syndicatie maakt dit soort producties fundamenteel anders dan een klassieke livestream.

On May 16, 2025, the Member Day of Rural Flanders took place at the Cordeel Group in Temse. The day focused on ownership, innovation, and connection between members. 2stream.live was there as an audiovisual partner, along with our colleagues from Shows on the Road.

Everything was tailored to the location and the day's tight schedule. We opted for a bright projection setup, amplified the sound with discreet yet powerful audio solutions, and pulled out all the stops to ensure a flawless experience—both for the attendees and for the registration afterward.
We also produced a report about the guided tour of the C-Biotech by Cordeel site. During the tour, Cordeel explained how they are using innovative applications of hemp as a circular building material. We captured the atmosphere, conversations, and insights in images and audio, ensuring this valuable content remains available to members after the event.

Op 16 mei 2025 vond de Ledendag van Landelijk Vlaanderen plaats bij Cordeel Group in Temse. Een dag die in het teken stond van het eigendomsrecht, innovatie en verbinding tussen leden. 2stream.live was erbij als audiovisuele partner, samen met onze collega’s van Shows on the Road.
Wij zorgden voor de volledige audiovisuele ondersteuning van het event:

Alles afgestemd op de locatie en het strakke programma van de dag. We kozen voor een heldere projectieopstelling, versterkte het geluid met discrete maar krachtige audio-oplossingen, en zetten alles in om een vlekkeloze beleving te garanderen — zowel voor de aanwezigen als voor de registratie achteraf.
Daarnaast maakten we ook een reportage over de begeleide wandeling op de site van C-Biotech by Cordeel. Tijdens die wandeling werd uitgelegd hoe Cordeel inzet op innovatieve toepassingen van hennep als circulair bouwmateriaal. We vingen de sfeer, gesprekken en inzichten in beeld en geluid, zodat deze waardevolle content ook na de dag beschikbaar blijft voor de leden.
