The Brightside Music & Event Venue

The Brightside is a multi-space music and event venue in downtown Dayton, welcoming event planners seeking a setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings and live performances. Its industrial-style spaces offer different options, from a larger ballroom to smaller rooms suited to more intimate occasions.

The ballroom is a central space for celebrations and can be paired with the Vod-Vil Bar, which is included with ballroom hire. The bar is also available for smaller gatherings and performances. For outdoor moments, the 3,600-square-foot patio provides room for cocktail hours and intimate shows, with tables, chairs, lighting and connections to the indoor spaces.

The Upside Loft offers a more relaxed setting, with lounge areas, a kitchenette and an outdoor deck. It can be used for wedding ceremonies and other gatherings, as well as serving performers during shows. Sidedoor is a separate, smaller venue for groups of up to 50, with an outdoor atrium, stage and PA system. It is suited to occasions such as birthday parties, baby showers and corporate retreats.

Alongside private hire, The Brightside hosts concerts, shows and community events. Organisers can enquire about weddings, private events or performance bookings, and the venue publishes details about its spaces, availability and rental rates. Its range of indoor and outdoor areas gives planners several ways to shape an event, whether they need a performance-ready room, a wedding setting or a smaller space for a gathering.
