Gorecki Alumni Center

Gorecki Alumni Center offers a collection of event spaces on the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks. Organisers can book the venue for meetings, conferences, corporate gatherings, weddings and private celebrations, with rooms suited to different event sizes and layouts.

The Gransberg Community Room is the centre's largest space, accommodating up to 220 guests and configurable for banquets, receptions, classroom sessions, theatre seating and boardroom-style meetings. Smaller options include the Burgum Presidential Suite and Hyslop Alumni Lounge, while the Great River Energy Terrace provides an outdoor setting for social events. The Kratt Grand Lobby can also be used for receptions and banquets. For wedding ceremonies, recitals and other suitable gatherings, the Hopper-Danley Memorial Chapel offers a separate campus location.

Spaces include Wi-Fi and audio-visual capabilities, with facilities varying by room. The venue team works with clients on room layouts, planning considerations and vendor recommendations, and provides event coordination and on-site support for wedding packages. Wedding options can cover a ceremony, reception and dance, with access to selected rooms and the terrace, event staffing, setup, a dance floor and nearby parking, depending on the package selected.

Catering is arranged through approved providers rather than supplied directly by the venue. Guests can use free on-site parking, and the event team can help coordinate overflow parking when needed. With its mix of adaptable meeting rooms, social spaces and dedicated ceremony options, Gorecki Alumni Center serves event planners seeking a campus venue for both professional functions and personal celebrations.
