S.C.C. De Bernardus

Kapelstraat 1, 4921 XZ Made, Netherlands

De Bernardus is a multifunctional venue in a former church in Made, where organisations and event planners can hire rooms for a wide range of gatherings. The options range from smaller rooms for meetings and workshops to a theatre hall for presentations, performances and larger events. The rooms can be booked by the hour, for a half-day or for a full day, and can be arranged in various layouts.

For business gatherings, options include meetings, brainstorming sessions, courses, presentations and business lunches. Parties, dinners and drinks receptions are also available as hire options. The theatre hall can accommodate up to 200 guests and has a retractable grandstand with 154 seats. This provides space for both small gatherings and programmes with a larger audience.

The venue can provide audiovisual facilities, such as a screen, microphone, whiteboard and flip chart. Visitors can enjoy coffee, tea, lunch or a drink in the catering area. Free Wi-Fi is available, and guests can park for free at the building. De Bernardus is accessible by car, bicycle and public transport. The entrance is step-free, there are accessible toilets and a lift to the upper floor.

The venue combines practical facilities with the character of a historic building. Organisers can discuss the room, layout and support they need in advance. De Bernardus is therefore a versatile venue for businesses, associations and other organisations looking for a space in Made for a gathering or event.
