The Oswestry Memorial Hall

Oswestry Memorial Hall is a community venue in the centre of Oswestry, offering rooms and event space for organisers, groups and local organisations. Its facilities are available for a broad mix of gatherings, from meetings and training sessions to conferences, annual general meetings, exhibitions and market events. The hall also welcomes private parties and charity fundraisers, making it a practical choice for both community and business occasions.

Organisers can enquire about small and large meeting rooms as well as the conference and events hall. The range of spaces allows the venue to serve different types of bookings, whether you are arranging a focused meeting, a group activity or a larger gathering. The hall also supports clubs, social groups and courses, so it is used for regular activities as well as one-off events.

Opened as a community venue in 1906, the hall continues to provide a place for people and organisations to meet in Oswestry. Its team invites prospective hirers to get in touch to discuss how they might use the space and make an enquiry. The venue is on Smithfield Street and can be contacted by email or telephone for information about availability and hire arrangements.

For event planners seeking a locally based venue for meetings, training, community events or private celebrations, Oswestry Memorial Hall offers a flexible setting with a long-standing role in the town.
