Stone River

Stone River is a riverfront venue in West Columbia, South Carolina, offering a scenic setting for weddings, corporate events, meetings, rehearsal dinners and social celebrations. Its location beside the Congaree River, with views towards Columbia, gives organisers a distinctive backdrop for gatherings large and small.

The venue combines an indoor reception hall with several outdoor areas, including a covered pavilion and a wrap-around porch. A river-view lawn can also be arranged for ceremonies, subject to availability. These spaces can be used together or separately, with room for up to 300 guests across the property for a cocktail-style event. For seated dining, the indoor hall can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Bookings are available in half-day and full-day blocks, with flexible start and finish times. The venue provides tables and chairs, set-up and take-down of its own equipment, and an event host on the day. A bridal suite, private parking and selected audiovisual equipment are also included. Stone River offers in-house bar packages with bartenders, while organisers can bring in a licensed, insured caterer of their choice. The on-site kitchen is available for food preparation.

For couples, businesses and private hosts, the team can help with venue layouts and planning details ahead of the event. Tours are available by appointment, giving event planners the opportunity to see the spaces, discuss availability and consider how the indoor and outdoor areas could work for their occasion.
