Het Oude Magazijn

Het Oude Magazijn is one of the oldest buildings at De Wagenwerkplaats in Amersfoort. From 1904, materials for repairing and converting freight wagons of the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg Maatschappij were stored in Het Oude Magazijn. In 2000, De Wagenwerkplaats, and consequently Het Oude Magazijn, lost its railway function, and the location was completely renovated as a wedding and event venue.

Modern technology and vintage elements

The authentic industrial elements of Het Oude Magazijn have been preserved as much as possible during the renovation. Such as the old shed roof, which looks like a saw from the side. The roof features windows positioned to ensure consistent light throughout the day. The warm interior contrasts beautifully with the authentic industrial eye-catchers inside. And naturally, the venue is equipped with modern technical facilities such as Wi-Fi, a lighting and sound system, and a permanent stage.

Plenary hall for up to 250 people

The venue features a plenary hall with space for groups of up to 250 people. The layout can be adapted for any business event. The adjacent foyer, which includes a bar, offers ample opportunity for relaxed drinks. Additionally, the venue can be exclusively hired for various business events such as meetings, conferences, receptions, seminars, or corporate drinks.

Thanks to its central location, just a few minutes' walk from Amersfoort Central Station and directly near the A1 and A28, Het Oude Magazijn is easily accessible to guests from all over the Netherlands. Furthermore, the venue features a spacious free parking area.
