The Bastion

The Bastion is a private event venue in Fort Worth's Fairmount neighbourhood, set within a historic property with gardens and gated parking. Organisers can hire its indoor event hall or outdoor patio for family celebrations, business gatherings, private dinners and other occasions. The hall has an open dance floor and stage, and the indoor and patio spaces can be arranged to suit the event. The indoor space seats up to 60 guests, with more room when guests use the patio or a mixed layout.

Food is a central part of the experience. Chef Chandra Riccetti can shape menus around the occasion, from brunch and lunch to receptions with appetisers and multi-course tasting dinners. Organisers can discuss their preferred style and menu with the chef. The venue also allows outside caterers, subject to its arrangements for preparation, insurance and clean-up. Guests may bring their own drinks, although larger events require a certified bartender.

The space includes audio equipment, a PA system, microphones, a screen and an overhead projector. There is also an outdoor patio, private parking and flexible set-up arrangements, which can often be planned around the event schedule. Dinnerware and linens may be available to hire when the venue is not providing the meal. The Bastion can suit organisers looking for a distinctive setting for an intimate gathering, a company meeting or a celebration with a customised dining element. Tours and event arrangements can be discussed directly with the team.
