Olson Cultural Events Center

Set in downtown Le Mars, the Olson Cultural Events Center is a public outdoor venue for organisers planning community, cultural, educational and recreational gatherings. Its open-air setting includes a covered pavilion and outdoor stage, with seating, parking, picnic areas and restrooms on site. The mix of facilities makes the centre suitable for events that benefit from a central location and room for guests to gather outdoors.

The venue has hosted a varied programme, including outdoor concerts, summer film screenings, festivals, community celebrations and other public activities. Its stage supports live performances and presentations, while the pavilion and surrounding picnic areas provide useful spaces for people to meet, take a break or enjoy food during an event. The centre can also accommodate occasions such as church services and local gatherings.

Organisers can contact the City of Le Mars venue manager to discuss the facility and make enquiries about using the space. The city lists the centre among its facilities and provides a contact for reservations. As an outdoor location, event plans should take the setting into account, including the season, weather and the needs of guests. With its central position and practical outdoor amenities, the centre offers a distinctive option for groups looking to host an event in Le Mars.
