Pacific Science Center

The Laser Dome is a distinctive venue option within Pacific Science Center, available to event organisers looking for an immersive setting in central Seattle. Its large domed space combines vivid laser visuals with powerful concert sound, making it well suited to receptions, celebrations, presentations and other gatherings where the atmosphere is part of the experience. The space can accommodate up to 487 guests, subject to the event layout and current availability.

Organisers can also explore other spaces across the Pacific Science Center campus. Options include indoor and outdoor areas, interactive exhibit halls, a planetarium, a tropical butterfly house and a large courtyard with views towards the Space Needle. This range makes it possible to shape events around different formats, from a smaller private gathering to a large reception, fundraiser, wedding or corporate occasion. Selected exhibits may be available to guests as part of a venue booking.

Rental arrangements are tailored to the event's size, timing, chosen spaces and requirements. Evening bookings offer greater flexibility, while daytime availability can be limited by public opening hours. Organisers can discuss their plans with the venue team and request a customised proposal. PacSci also allows flexibility in choosing most event suppliers, with a preferred list of caterers available for food service. Venue capacities and layouts can vary as exhibits change, so it is worth confirming the details for the intended date.

For planners seeking something beyond a conventional function room, the Laser Dome offers a memorable setting that can serve as a focal point for an event or be considered alongside the science centre's other bookable spaces.
