The Beaverwood

The Beaverwood is a private event venue in Chislehurst, set within landscaped grounds near the Kent border. Its marquee-style main space is available for a wide range of celebrations and gatherings, including wedding receptions, birthday parties, school proms, children’s parties, wakes and corporate functions. The venue is a reception and party location rather than a licensed setting for legal wedding ceremonies, but it also offers space for wedding blessings and vow renewals.

The main room can accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated meal and up to 330 for an evening event. Inside, event features include a dance floor, two bars, sound equipment and adjustable lighting. The room is heated and air-conditioned, while the grounds provide outdoor space for photographs, drinks receptions and team activities. Venue hire packages may include tables, chairs, glassware, set-up access and on-site parking, with details varying by event type.

For food, The Beaverwood works with selected independent caterers offering a range of menus and styles. Corporate organisers can enquire about using the venue for award dinners, presentations, filming and team-building days. The site also hosts its own public programme of live music, club and soul nights, and comedy. These ticketed events are part of its activities, alongside its core offer of hiring the space to people planning private and business events.

The venue has step-free access and on-site parking, including marked accessible spaces. Organisers can contact its events team to discuss requirements, view the space and explore suitable hire arrangements.
