Long Bennington Village Hall

Long Bennington Village Hall offers flexible, community-run spaces for private celebrations, meetings, classes and local events in Long Bennington, between Grantham and Newark. Organisers can hire the spacious main hall for larger gatherings, with a full-width stage, curtains and changing rooms. The hall can accommodate up to 240 people, making it suitable for parties, performances, presentations and community occasions. A foyer provides space for arrivals, ticket sales or coats.

For smaller gatherings, the small hall can be booked separately. The bar, which seats up to 50, is available with the main hall or on its own for suitable meetings and events. A kitchen can be added to a booking, with cooking and food preparation facilities, crockery and cutlery available when it is included. The venue also has tables and chairs, free Wi-Fi, central heating, accessible toilet facilities and on-site parking, including a wheelchair-accessible space.

The hall is suitable for children’s parties and permits live or amplified music subject to its terms and conditions. Organisers should note that the venue is not licensed for wedding or civil ceremonies. Hirers arrange their own room set-up and clear-up, and may bring in caterers who meet food hygiene requirements. A bar may be available for an event by arrangement.

Bookings can be made online, where organisers can check availability and submit an enquiry. The hall is managed by a volunteer committee and serves both regular community users and occasional hirers. Its range of room sizes and practical facilities makes it a useful choice for local celebrations, activities and meetings.
