The Upper Lodge

The Upper Lodge is a flexible conference and event space on the west side of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs campus. Its setting includes views from a front patio, while the indoor room can be arranged as one gathering space or divided into three sections for smaller groups and breakout sessions.

The venue is suited to meetings, conferences, banquets, ceremonies, receptions and other gatherings that benefit from a custom layout. An installed sound system is available, and room plans can be developed with an Event Services coordinator to suit the event. Depending on the setup, arrangements may include conference, classroom, theatre or banquet seating, as well as space for registration, catering, staging or exhibits.

UCCS Event Services manages reservations for the Upper Lodge and can help organisers plan the room setup and coordinate event requirements. Additional equipment, staffing or services beyond the venue's standard inclusions may involve extra charges. Catering is coordinated separately through UCCS, and the university's event team can advise on audiovisual support and other logistics.

The Upper Lodge is part of a working university campus, so availability and reservation procedures depend on the type of organisation making the request. External organisations are directed to coordinate through Conference Services. Organisers should enquire in advance to confirm access, availability, event requirements and any applicable campus arrangements.
