De Doelen
Located on Schouwburgplein, in the heart of Rotterdam, stands the iconic concert and congress building De Doelen. With more than 30 halls, it is a versatile venue for national and international congresses and events, ranging from intimate symposia to large-scale conferences for up to 3,000 attendees. Its central location, within walking distance of Rotterdam Central Station, makes De Doelen easily accessible for both national and international guests.
De Doelen consists of three distinctive complexes: the Grote Zaal Complex, the Willem Burger Complex, and the Jurriaanse Complex. Each complex has its own identity and architecture and can be used independently or combined for larger events. Together, they offer a unique combination of monumental concert halls, modern conference facilities, and flexible spaces for plenary sessions, breakout sessions, and meetings.
As a concert and congress center, De Doelen is situated at the heart of a vibrant cultural dynamic. Organizers work here with an experienced team that provides personal guidance and takes care of everything. This results in events that are strong in content, professionally organized, and lastingly distinctive, while simultaneously contributing to the cultural life of Rotterdam.
