De Groene Afslag is a circular meeting place in Bussum where organisations can hire rooms for meetings, training sessions, workshops, brainstorming sessions and events. The venue has 17 rooms in a range of sizes. This means there is space for both small team sessions and larger gatherings, with rooms for groups of up to around 200 people. The distinctive interiors, art and reused materials give the rooms a recognisable character and offer a different setting from a standard meeting venue.

In addition to meetings, the venue can host presentations, quarterly gatherings, drinks receptions and celebratory dinners. The team will work with you on the programme. For example, its own school can run workshops or sessions exploring themes such as change and sustainability. This allows organisers to add an activity to their gathering that suits their organisation and objectives.

The restaurant serves plant-based, seasonal and locally sourced dishes. This makes it easy to combine a meeting or event with breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner. For participants who would like to stay overnight, there is a hotel with 30 rooms, each designed by a different artist.

The venue is in Bussum, close to the Goois Natuurreservaat nature reserve and the A1. There is parking, and the venue is also accessible by public transport. De Groene Afslag is a good fit for event planners looking for a centrally located venue with a range of room sizes, catering and accommodation, in a setting where sustainability and creativity are clearly part of the experience.
