Fourth wave: Sylvester and MEEPLE switch event format flexibly

The fourth wave forced a lot of new measures, less social contacts, more teleworking and the return of the mouth masks. Not an ideal time to organize events? Sylvester advocates not to stop organizing events, but to look at the way we do it, tailored to the objectives and target groups. Geert Vanoverschelde, CEO of Sylvester: “Fast and flexible switching from event format is the right solution to keep connecting. We have applied and demonstrated this abundantly over the past year and a half.”

Vanoverschelde: “Certainly for events aimed at information and knowledge sharing, converting from physical to hybrid (or fully digital) is a more than valid option. Thanks to our pioneering role and successful experience in digital, hybrid and physical (live) events, in combination with our own event venue MEEPLE, we can quickly adapt an event to the measures, possibilities and desired objectives.”

Even with CST and a mouth mask, physical events remain feasible and effective, believes Vanoverschelde. “The mouth mask seems like a barrier, but it does not prevent congresses, conferences, B2B events, stakeholder events, etc. from taking place. Something that several of our customers have already opted for.”

Mooi te zien hoe snel jullie schakelen. En inderdaad, flexibel het format kunnen aanpassen is een belangrijke troef. Keep up the good work!
