At the end of the city walls behind the Beguinage, a watermill complex has stood like an island in the Demer since the 16th century. After a successful restoration that lasted 5 years, the impressive building has been given a new purpose.
Today, in addition to an authentic hotel, the Hertogenmolens also house a contemporary brasserie with a beautiful floating terrace and a party and meeting room for both business and private affairs.
