The Aquaforum conference boat offers event organisers a distinctive venue for meetings, seminars, conferences and smaller celebrations. The solar-powered trimaran is moored on Bergheider See in Lichterfeld and can be booked for events on board. When weather conditions are suitable, trips across the lake are also possible.
There is room for up to 30 people indoors. For events with a buffet or other catering, a smaller group of around 20 to 24 guests is recommended. Reliable internet, a large screen and presentation materials are available for meetings, presentations and training sessions. A small kitchen allows you to arrange your own catering. There is also an option for compact meetings with groups of up to six people.
The sun deck extends the event space with an open-air area featuring seating and sun loungers. It is ideal for breaks, conversations outdoors, or snacks and drinks with a view of Bergheider See and the F60 conveyor bridge. For booked trips, a crew accompanies guests and shares insights into the landscape, the restoration of the former open-cast mine and the development of the region. Depending on conditions, a swim may also be part of the trip.
Aquaforum is particularly suited to smaller company meetings, customer events and private occasions where a peaceful waterside setting is important. The scope, duration and any trip on the lake can be agreed when booking. Whether the boat can set sail is decided by the skipper based on the weather and safety conditions.
