For two days, AREA 42 pulsed to the rhythm of a seminar organised with the European Commission's Directorate-General for Culture. A dense event filled with discussions, workshops, and conferences running simultaneously across the venue's various spaces.
Since the post-COVID period, AREA 42 has witnessed a real transformation in the way professional meetings are organised. Events now typically last two to three days and prioritise proximity and interaction. Groups of 150 to 300 participants now regularly occupy the space for immersive seminars that blend reflection and creativity.
With its 2,000 m² of modular spaces, AREA 42 stands out as an ideal playground for such projects. The spaces adapt to every need: here a plenary conference, there collaborative workshops, further away a lounge area, and in a secluded corner, a formal meeting attended by European Commissioner for Culture Glenn Micallef.
This European seminar perfectly illustrates the venue's mission: to host large-scale international collaborative projects where ideas flow freely. Over two days, AREA 42 once again demonstrated its ability to combine innovation, conviviality, and event excellence.
