Live Nation Entertainment has taken over the Belgian Ticketnet and is renaming the ticketing company to Ticketmaster Belgium.
Didier Decaestecker becomes general manager of the Belgian branch and is responsible with integrating Ticketnet into the Ticketmaster organisation. He is also in charge with the further extending of the local team.
Mark Yovich, president of Ticketmaster International, said: "We are delighted to be launching in Belgium where there is huge potential for growth and a vibrant live entertainment and sports scene."
