(Junior) Event Manager

Are you passionate about events, but also energized by new contacts and opportunities? At Ductape Event Agency, we're looking for a (Junior) Event Manager to bring creative concepts to life and contribute to our growth. You'll work on a variety of events, from initial concept to production, and will also have the opportunity to explore the market, meet new clients, and translate opportunities into concrete agreements. This is a versatile role in a rapidly expanding creative agency, where initiative and enthusiasm make all the difference. As an event manager, you'll be responsible for developing and supporting events. You'll not only develop quotes numerically but also contribute to developing new concepts and know how to support them visually. You're eager to roll up your sleeves and take on a coordinating role in production. Additionally, you'll assume limited but focused commercial responsibility within this role. On average, you'll spend half a day per week exploring the market, identifying opportunities, and making initial contacts with new potential clients. The rest of your time is dedicated to developing and producing events, from concept to execution. This way, you'll combine creativity with communication and contribute to Ductape's continued growth. Ductape organizes a wide variety of events: staff parties, team-building events, customer events, product launches, family days, incentives, private events, and more. Our offices are located in Antwerp on the trendy Eilandje district in a renovated warehouse, ensuring a pleasant working environment!

Job description:

• You develop concepts independently and function well in a team.
• You prepare detailed budgets with visual support.
• You are in contact with customers and suppliers.
• You select the most suitable suppliers per project.
• You manage deadlines and create scripts.
• You support and coordinate the events in production.
• You support business development through market research, prospecting, and actively approaching new potential customers.
• You actively explore the market, conduct prospecting and help schedule appointments with new potential customers.
• You take the initiative for the further development of Ductape.

• Evening and weekend work doesn't scare you.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp or similar software is a plus.
• You preferably have completed event training or have several years of relevant experience.
