Global Event Awards 2018: Deadline Extended

Global Event Awards 2018: Deadline Extended

After a bout of last minute entries and unprecedented interest toward Eventex Awards 2018, the registration deadline for the global event competition has been extended until 15 December 2017. All prizeworthy events have now the chance to enter the competition to snag one of the prestigious trophies.

"The extension of the deadline was imposed by the immense interest toward the awards we've been witnessing for the last week or so. We saw such an influx of entries and got so many requests to extend the deadlines, that we simply had no other option. Our ultimate goal with Eventex is to showcase the best of the best in the event industry and we wouldn't risk missing out some extraordinary events just because of a shorter entry deadline", comments Ovanes Ovanessian, founder of Eventex Awards.

With 1.000+ entries from 70+ countries over the past 7 years, Eventex Awards has established itself as an industry's leading awards competition worldwide. The global event awards highlight the top achievements by event professionals, meeting planners, promoters, and live communication professionals in producing cutting-edge event experiences. The competition attracts some of the biggest names in the events and marketing world such as: George P. Johnson, Xsaga, Verve, Momentum Worldwide, Kenes Group, AIM Group International, H&M, Revlon, Siemens, Vodafone, BMW, Mercedes and many others.

This year's edition of Eventex is shaping up to be the biggest to date with more entries, from more countries, than ever before in the 7-year history of the competition.

"We believe that one of the reasons for the record number of entries this year is that this Eventex edition is 100% online. Thus, everything is even more accessible and entries are showcased to a much wider international audience, which is key for a successful business. What’s more, in the last seven years the competition has become notorious for its complete transparency, giving an equal chance of winning for both small and big events", adds Ovanes.
